So hey: I am working on a novel where the main character is involved in indie filmmaking in MN. I have been thinking about all the stuff I don't know, and that I don't know I don't know. I would really like to find someone who is doing an indie film in MN who would let me hang out & watch/work.

There’s plenty of disinformation trying to blame the nascent offshore wind industry for whale deaths without evidence. Not only is that misleading, it also takes the focus away from solutions that might actually address the leading causes of death — vessel strikes and entanglement with fishing gear.
Whales are dying, but it’s not because of wind farms
Investigating a whale beaching is grueling work, and scientists see the same culprit again and again.

The long-lost trailer to my short film Weekend Away. We made this film in 2012, and very few people saw it as it was turned down by over 100 festivals (a badge of honor for sure, but it did make it into 4). Many of the folks who worked on WEEKEND AWAY went on to big, successful careers.

Did anyone see the film ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT? Never has cinematography alone brought me to tears in such a way. Every single shot filled with beauty and layered with intention. Pure cinema!
