I think this is the first time I've lived walking distance from a grocery store and I'm out of my mind about it. I'll walk there several times a day. Oh did I forget to grab something? No big deal I'll simply Walk To The Store

@eulenberg.bsky.social @potshot.bsky.social @setpiecesicko.bsky.social @alexcollings.bsky.social @lorcanmcc.bsky.social @clivepafc.bsky.social I am really curious how/when we decide which fullback to invert tomorrow. I think the assumption is it will just always be MLS pulling in Rodrygo 1/2

Step aside for The Ocean, the oldest continuously running named train in the Americas. (Since 1904, and second only to The Flying Scotsman.).

Here it is arriving in #Halifax on Saturday night.

We rode it back to #Montreal, a 22-hour, 1,300-km overnighter in sleeper cars…

@philcosta.bsky.social now that Arsenal have missed out on Vitor Reis, who should be our next target to provide youth depth at CB? Especially if Tierney, Zinchenko and possibly Kiwior go we need another defender who is happy to play cup games and grow mostly through training next season.

I'm not having "open the scoring" with 12 minutes to play. Surely open the scoring should be used only early in the game when there is a good chance there will be more goals. The most likely result in this case was that it remains 1-0. Classic "breaks the deadlock".

Excited to share a personal project I've been working on. I've heard the best thing you can do for your country in tough times is use the skills you have.

So I hope you'll subscribe, share and listen to Elbows Up, a podcast about how, exactly, Canada can be strong and free. Forever.

One issue I feel could help is scheduling of referees. Michael Oliver has done 10 Arsenal games in the last 2 seasons. This means he's officiated one out of every 6 games.

There are 22 referees in the PGMOL list this season, so you could feasibly have the same ref only twice per season.

The life and death of the Canadian small town
Neoliberal capitalism isn't compatible with small and rural communities. At some point, we either face that fact or we simply let them all die.
