And when the bombs began to fall on church and child and friend, I couldn’t think of peace at all. I prayed for weapons to send.

I have a very strong feeling that even many of the most stubborn Trump supporters will eventually get tired of this never-ending circus.

You just can't go on like this forever, it's way too much even by their standards.

Trump doesn’t need voters anymore. We’re a lame duck nation to him.

Never in my life could I imagine that Ukraine, as a result of a war with Russia (!) under the leadership of Zelensky (!!), would become the leader of the free world (!!!!!) amid looming authoritarian swift in the United States and its growing confrontation with Europe (aAAAaaAAAaaaAaAAa!!!)

Russia is economically and politically dependent on war now. It cannot get out of it unless it wins or loses big. Europe should realize that the only way forward is to defeat Russia or be defeated itself.

Sandra Bland should have turned 38 years old today. She should be around family and friends.

Instead, her life was stolen.

I think in the end President Trump will be remembered for his inability to control the unelected senator Muskarthy.

It may sound bizarre that viruses can heal, cure, and protect against disease, but it's true. Once lost in scientific obscurity, bacteriophage therapy is making a comeback. 🧪

Did I understand that after refusing the US military plane sent by President Trump filled with migrants from Colombia that the president of Colombia sent his official presidential plane to pick up his citizens?

I go to punk shows and always try to position myself to build a wall to contain the mosh pit and help prevent harm. There’s no better energy than a mosh pit.

On my tour of Auschwitz some years ago I followed a group of tourists who took “big-cheese” smile group photos in front of everything. On some level it was a culture clash, and they didn’t have an interpreter so maybe they didn’t have any context for what they were seeing? It was surreal.

Auschwitz was liberated 80 years ago.

A Slovak social worker took a group of Roma families to Poland and on their tour of Auschwitz the Roma people saw pictures of their relatives on the walls. They had never known that their own families suffered there. The elders simply never spoke of it.

Painful lack of imagination from Times. Before Feb 24th -22 analysts competed guessing days until Russia would win but they were all wrong. Now the same race among the unimaginative is about what kind of lousy "peace" Ukraine will have. None of them can imagine a solid Ukrainian victory.

Me, a seasoned saint: No. No you did not. They said I was a Methodist minister.
