I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

There is no way I will be voting for him a 6th time.

I'm sorry but the largest protest of my lifetime is not the 7th or 8th biggest news story in the country behind "what does Gen Z want from Instagram?" This shit is humiliating. Rearrange your layout to meet this moment. Omitting the thing happening in every American city is malpractice.

Just need to take a moment to celebrate that my new job does not use Jira. They do not adhere to daily stand ups. The updates are all asynchronous. Meetings minimized. GitHub is used as a proper project management tool.

Why did I think he already had been charged with something like this
Russell Brand has been charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault by London’s Metropolitan Police.

The investigation was sparked by allegations reported by Channel 4 and The Sunday Times. The charges related to four separate women

He was not dead.

“Dead” Ned Johnson turns out to be very much alive. It took him weeks to convince the system he was breathing and to start clawing his benefits back.

You to vote them all out. this is what allowing yourself to be entranced performative liberal activism gets you.

They dangle the fear of “orange man taking rights” as a cudgel to force you to vote for them, and then they’ll let him do it

“Extensive” town halls 🤯
The Democratic Party is planning an extensive series of town halls in Republican-held districts in all 50 states to draw attention to the Republican leadership’s recent warning that GOP lawmakers should avoid such open forums.

I still write 98% of my code and documentation from scratch.
The exceptions are things like formatting a plot.

I am convinced that generative AI has hit a plateau. We may have a generation of software devs who won't know what to do when companies stop paying for enterprise code generation contracts

I am constantly eating apples. When I say this - I need to be clear. For like 10 years of my life I didn’t really eat apples. Now I have 2, sometimes 3 every day. One day I had 4. It’s the only snack that truly does it for me. It’s the whole package. My day is worse if I do not have an Apple.

“It is ridiculous to conceive of freedom to mean that a lie has the same right as a truth before a court of law. A genuine work-democracy will not accord mystical irrationality the same right as truth; nor will it allow the suppression of children the same scope as it allows their freedom…
