During Iraq War 2.0, I saw Baghdad Bob absurdly denying the facts. I wondered what the point was. Surely the Iraqi people could see the lies for themselves? Seeing it in America I know see the point: people don’t believe in objective reality especially if there is a comforting lie to latch onto.
