We may detect bullshit, yet inevitably face Brandolini's Law: “The amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than the energy expended to produce it.” An effect magnified by bullshit amplifiers within corporate media, and on social media platforms.

It is 2005, the internet is a distributed network of servers designed so that no one outage can take down the entire network

It is 2025, the internet relies on three companies, problems with any one of which can cripple a significant proportion of the global economy
there’s a major AWS outage going on right now that’s taken down Fortnite, Alexa, Snapchat, Perplexity, Roblox, and lots more of the internet. US-EAST-1 is down and impacting a lot of services that rely on AWS www.theverge.com/news/802486/...

Tell me again how it's women who are ruining the workplace?

Left unchecked, those cysts turn into tumors. A handful of billionaires now sit on wealth rivaling entire nations, while the richest 1% grabbed most of the new wealth on earth. That’s not “growth,” that’s organ failure: economic fluidity slows, mobility collapses, and democracy loses oxygen.

In a real market, $$ is supposed to MOVE. Capital is a bloodstream of freedom, risk, & new ideas. But when billionaires hoard, they don’t “win” capitalism — they clog it. Each sick fortune is a cyst in the econ body, swelling while neighborhoods, workers, & small businesses are drained dry.
A responsive, auto tax trigger benefits the entire econ body by keeping wealth circulating instead of stagnating at the top. Everyone participates, our collective health—economic, social, and political—improves. The rich still prosper, but their surplus fuels shared progress, not stagnation or decay

Toxic politics has ripped our country apart.

I’ve watched in horror as people have cheered for insurrections, secessions and the demonization of their fellow Americans.

The House of Representatives will vote on releasing the Epstein files today.

It will pass, then it needs to get through the Senate and Trump.

Trump claims he has nothing to hide, yet he could’ve directed the DOJ to release the files at any time.

He doesn’t need a vote from Congress.
