Superman/Clark Kent was created by the sons of Jewish immigrants as an allegory for being a refugee, taken in by the US after being driven from their home in Europe. Superman's an escapist character who can defeat any antisemite or other evildoer, wether Nazi or Stalinist, by simply punching them.

Heroes of the day: Michael Fanone and Jack Smith! Fanone's coughed response to the BS spin mist Republicans were putting on today was spot on perfect! I just wish Jack Smith's cases could have gone to trial. Would have saved us from what now seems like an eternity until we can Dump the Trump!

Yes yes, ruins, palaces, mosaics, gold coins, jewellery, all very impressive, but a prehistoric ladder and a mysterious structure makes me just as happy!
