New study:

"Our brains go through 4 turning points as we age, changing the way we learn, plan & remember.

Researchers studied brain scans from 3k people, examining how white matter tracts exchange information.

The range and efficiency of those connections change around ages 9, 32, 66, and 83."
Your brain undergoes four dramatic periods of change from age 0 to 90
Our brain wiring seems to undergo four major turning points at ages 9, 32, 66 and 83, which could influence our capacity to learn and our risk of certain conditions

There's no shame in it; "AI"-generated text is a moving target and it does improve over time. At the end of the day, there is no intentionality behind an LLM, just statistical pattern-matching, and that fact, and how it expresses itself, is going to be the giveaway, iteration after iteration.
I've had one or two things catch me off-guard lately, to my shame.

Reminder that years ago it was found out that the FBI straight up made up a whole bunch of fake forensic sciences, plural. People have gone to jail and been executed due to literally pseudoscience.

Hair forensics, for instance, is totally nonsense.

They admitted it.

boy, I dunno about this

Any skilled masters-level cell biologist would likely be able to carry out molecular genetics on yeast and/or bacteria in a home lab setup, and generate an arbitrary antigen in a beer / broth / yogurt, but it should be obvious why we don’t do published research this way
He made beer that’s also a vaccine. Now controversy is brewing
An NIH scientist’s maverick approach reveals legal, ethical, moral, scientific and social challenges to developing potentially life-saving vaccines.
