Despite 50,000+ studies on relapse in psychosis, there's been no consistent definition until now 🤔

This systematic review and Delphi study developed consensus criteria for schizophrenia research, finding 85% of trials used inconsistent definitions.

My daughter is a youth worker (albeit in Australia where we have evidently a hundred times better social safety nets), but tragically there is a small number of badly damaged kids with incipient severe mental health problems like schizophrenia who simply must have drug therapy

it’s been so shitty because like. I am obviously a huge believer in the right to medical autonomy, and that includes the principle that whether someone gets treatment should be their own decision. but damn, in anosognosia/lack of insight situations it just kind of means you’re fucked.
