I said same thing in talking to some of my friends couple of weeks ago. All people need is to read some of WW2 US history:
Creating a military conflict with Venezuela gives this administration a legal "hook" to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. In other words, the foreign war is being manufactured in order to facilitate court deference for its domestic mass deportation policy. It's a Stephen Miller Special.

Friends, head over to Substack and read our friend Earl’s latest piece.

Might be an inconvenient truth, but it is the truth that many need to read, ponder, and share.
📌"I have typed before, and will until my last breath, that Black voters are America’s TRUE patriots, and the only voting bloc that overwhelmingly and consistently gets it right.
How incredibly sad it must be to see white people elect bile who see white supremacy as a virtue, instead of a plague."

This is madness! The “no new wars” president is taking us to war with Venezuela.

Bombing ships in the Caribbean, as an ongoing operation, without congressional authorization, crosses the line into an unconstitutional use of military force.

It’s clear that the primary interest of the US in “peace negotiations” is to create opportunities for Trump, Witkoff, their family members, business partners and cronies to make billions from business deals with Russia, and Ukraine is just the annoying nuisance in the way.

A judge is already moving to redact the victims before the files are released. So if the survivors are shielded, the DOJ has no excuse for any other redactions, right?

We are going to have war crimes investigations when this is said and done.

And I do not look forward to the likelihood that the mid-level folks, most of whom probably don’t have full details, are the only ones likely to face possible accountability. The senior folks will be pardoned.
