It’s hard to think of a single act by a single human that instantly damaged as many plans, careers, dreams in as many places around the globe

For a supreme (and cruel) narcissist, the rush must be exquisite

Republicans’ partisan spending bill turns the federal government into a slush fund for Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

It’s unthinkable that any Senate Democrat would hand them a blank check by voting for cloture.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Your work matters enormously and will continue to resonate. They may slow us down, but they can't stop us.

The Medicare Advantage program is a stealth attempt to privatize Medicare and enrich the private insurance industry at the expense of seniors.

Multimillionaire CMS nominee Mehmet Oz, who owns stock in private insurers, is one of the biggest proponents of this scheme.

The TV doctor’s scams and fake cures are the least of what makes him so dangerous as Trump’s appointee to head Medicare and Medicaid.

Only the first $168,800 of income is taxed for Social Security, on every dollar after that not a nickel is paid into the system.

The vast majority of people pay in on 100% of their income, but billionaires only pay in on a tiny fraction of their gains.

It’s time for everyone to pay the same rate
Working people pay into Social Security and Medicare with every paycheck all year long.

But billionaires stop paying into the system minutes after the ball drops on New Year's Eve.

It's time for everyone to pay the same rate.

Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind?

It's not because of immigrants, trans people, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.

It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains

What is the working class? Many invoke it in this election, but no one defines it. How much is it economic, when a plumber can make 10x as much as adjunct professor? How much is it cultural/an identity, or the kind of labor? Why so many 1930s white-guy versions when so many are women and BIPOC?

The strategy is to throw sand in the gears and slow everything down, while simultaneously exposing the deeply unpopular acts of the admin and hastening the buyers remorse by millions of people who voted based on lies.
