the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

So, last night at 3am, I woke up, wrote down this idea for a module that I thought was excellent, and now I’m wondering what it means at what the conflict at the heart of this module will be. Team, what is the Anthaumic Spring and why are we adventuring there?

For me it was defensiveness from always being labeled “that weird metal kid” and being told by others that the music I loved was “just noise” despite the technical mastery required to compose/play. That turned into a sort of “No they’re wrong, my music is REAL music and theirs is trash” attitude
