As a late-career teacher directly impacted by the Social Security Fairness Act, my response to folks decrying my access to all benefits I paid for: “You’re mad because you’re not getting MORE benefits as mine simply get RESTORED. Imagine if the benefits you paid in for were slashed for no reason.” 🙄
