Luke starts off semi-famous. He’s on Broadway and has 10k followers on Insta. However when he’s back home in podunk nowhere MI, that falls flat. He’s also infamous for being outed in the small town.🥺
By the end of the book, his fame skyrockets!
But it’s Ethan’s story, so we only glimpse it.

One of my favorite sweet/spicy cozy moments, when Ethan lets Luke into his safe space, the massive library he’s kept secret from most people.

He goes back to perusing the shelves, studying the various covers with interest. "You must have spent years assembling this," be muses, randomly picking up a book and skimming the back cover. "How do you have it organized?" "Genre, then by author," I say. "Theré's classic literature in that corner, borror to your left. Fantasy, historical fiction, science fiction..." Luke nods, impressed. But then be stops at one particular shelf, and the corner of bis mouth twists into a sly grin. My heart drops as I realize what bé's looking at the romance novels. Fucking bell. "Well, well," Luke chuckles, facing me with a devilish grin. "Now I understand. This is where it comes from." "What? I swallow bard, trying to act like I don't know exactly what bé's looking at. "Your preferences," be says, his voice dropping a register, sending a chill down my spine. He folds his arms across his chest and leans against the bookshelf with a positively feline stance, looking me up and down with a new fire in his eye, covetous in its own right. I swallow bard. "You're a hopeless romantic." 'Those were an old girlfriends," I lie patbetically. Luké's smile only grows. "Ob, I didn't need to see the books to figure you out, baby," Luke chuckles. "I already found out all your tells a while ago. I know what you like." "Lies. Pure lies.” Luke pushes himself off the shelf and stalks across the room to me gracefully, and I find myself backed into the corner with nowhere to go as be looms over me. Before I can say anything, be pins me to the wall, one band cupping my chin, tilting my bead up so that our faces are only inches apart. My eyes widen, and my body betrays me, shivering against my control. My heart's pounding. It doesn't go unnoticed. Luke smiles triumphantly before pressing bis lips to mine, instantly turning my brain to mush as be kisses me like in my wildest fantasies. When be pulls away, be drags his hand down my throat and over my heaving chest and stares at my mouth before lifting his eyes to meet mine, and I shudder at the possessiveness in his gaze. The way be seems to see through my soul. "Keep telling yourself that, sweetheart," he purrs softly, and my insides turn molten. "Okay, fine," I say breathlessly, grabbing his shirt by the collar. "Shut up and come here, you fucking bastard." Then he kisses me til the world goes hazy, and I feel the magic of this sacred space mingling with our jagged breaths.

I (35m) am worried that my bf (30m) is being abused by an old high school bully, but he won’t tell me what’s going on. He’s avoidant and gets mad whenever I bring it up. I confronted the bully and learned the truth, but now my bf is mad at me for getting involved. AITA?

He sends me a selfie sitting in the driver's seat, presumably one he took during the day since it's sunny in the background. He's wearing his sunglasses, giving a self- assured grin as he poses in the most flattering way possible, almost like he was made for the camera. There's a handwritten note edited over the image that says 'mine' in cursive with a small heart dotted over the 'i.' I study that picture for a long minute, unable to keep the smile from my face. Not only does Luke look good in the truck, but the idea of him showing off that he's been driving it warms my heart. Still, I can't help but write a snarky reply. "E: Nice try, but this isn't a hostage situation. We don't negotiate with terrorists, even if they are pretty."

Not at all. 😅 There’s only one point where it would come into play and it’s at the end anyway so it would just change how the ending goes in terms of “rescue” but it wouldn’t come up before.

Luke kisses me, tangling his hands in my hair at the root, sending a shiver down my spine. And when he slowly starts rocking his hips back and forth, I don't have control of the breathy moan that escapes my lips.

I think it’s an ok approach for some things but can wind up stifling the creativity if forced. I tend to go with the approach of ‘butt in the chair’ at least once a day, but I can’t beat myself up for failing to produce anything. I just follow the ebbs and flows.
