David Huerta, the local president of SEIU United Service Workers West, was injured and arrested by federal agents in the midst of a fascist and chaotic immigration “enforcement” event on Friday in Los Angeles. Since then, the current admin is “deploying” to provoke unrest in California.

Look beyond Trump and Musk's public blowout to the bigger problem: the infiltration of Big Money in our politics. It has corrupted our democracy — creating a vicious cycle that funnels more wealth and power to those at the top while drowning out the needs of regular Americans.

Kristi Noem incorrectly defined habeas corpus as the president’s right to deport people. Huh? That’s… not even close.

I am sincerely moved by Sen. Van Hollen. Sometimes Members of Congress do stuff that is brave. I didn’t say this while he was there, but it kind of reminded me of Rep. Leo Ryan in 1978.

We need more MOCs to show the same spine for their constituents. We do NOT accept our neighbors being disappeared

There are a lot of bad things happening all at once, and it’s overwhelming to think about how to meet moments like this.

This is bad, it’s a really shitty thing to do, but nobody can take away the union. The workers ARE the union. Solidarity isn’t just on paper and they’re about to find that out
Trump just took away their union. He’ll come for yours next.

Every member of Congress should demand this union-busting bullshit ends now.
Stripping collective bargaining and union rights from workers across the federal government is the very definition of union busting — and a blatant attempt to silence us.

We will fight this outrageous attack on our members with every fiber of our collective being.

The Trump administration claims that expanding oil and gas drilling would help lower grocery costs. In reality, increasing American oil production—which is already booming—would have little to no effect.
