For me, it's also a huge matter of time, both the time necessary to properly promote and support it, and the time necessary to navigate the things you mention. Designing games is a huge part of my life, but not all of my life, and I need to spend my time wisely so that all of my life is tended well.

Also, communication tools cannot keep anyone safe, but they sure can help facilitate clear commutation!
