I often tell people that these kids can make it through the abuse but it’s what comes after that is the most traumatic. Victims are treated as perpetrators and far too many communities, especially in churches, support the criminal. I see it way too much in Utah.

I have three kids at home and our weekly grocery trips went from 150 (2015… this was with diapers and formula) to 200 (2018) to 250 (2021) and this week it was a whopping 330 (with no diapers or formula)I shop deals and at winco or the local ocean mart.

Authority should never be taught to children. Give them the means to report and advocate for themselves, and we need to support them when they do. Hold predators accountable. You’ll see a hell of a lot less of this in so many systems.
