NEW: We identified at least 14 officers in the Chicago Police Department who, according to disciplinary records, have faced multiple accusations of sexual assault or misconduct in the past 10 years.

Most have not been convicted.

White South Africans claiming persecution over land ownership when their land was stolen from black and other South Africans up until the 1980s and blacks were not even allowed a VOTE until 1994! They still own 73% of the land and are only 7% of the population. Worst victimhood claim in history.

I hope the Dems know that refusing to file articles of impeachment because “the republicans won’t impeach” is going to look real fucking shady at some point. Get the evidence and votes on fucking record. Show that you understood the constitution was being violated and you cared! Set precedent.

Beautiful Momma Earth, I love you. You make me feel small, and the hate of some humans for other humans feels even less logical when I see what a magical foundation we have to be joyful upon.

Have cried and laughed multiple times in the first 15 minutes of “Dying for Sex.” I’ve been on a slump of background noise watching the same shows on loop and I forgot how nice it feels to be enthralled by a new storyline.

I was just got home from magical Escalante, UT. Pure bliss. My greatest joy? This rock that I found! I almost didn’t stop to investigate because she’s so orange. In the good way.

PTA did a teacher appreciation week. The booklet they made with my students had me crying multiple times. Every child in my class brings me so much joy. Each one of them full of magic and quirky characteristics. To see so many adults cheer for worst outcomes because they’re so far removed. Kills me

"As I would not be a slave, so I would not be a master. This expresses my idea of democracy. Whatever differs from this, to the extent of the difference, is no democracy."

I didn’t have many photos without the student’s faces. Sea slug projects were a hit. Kinders were engaged for twenty minutes happily learning about ecosystems and photosynthesis from their buddies. Sixth created Pokémon cards for their slugs tied to facts, a clay figure, and informative slides.

Check out your students training tests for standardized tests. It’s important to know what states are asking our students to do and how they’re being measured. I think the sixth grade tests will shock y’all. Imagine sitting and taking these. 3 tests. 40 questions each.

I need someone to Katie Porter what happens without the department of education. Really break down the costs, resources and services lost, students who will be impacted. Stop talking about how it’s real bad and give perspective! Best if Katie Porter herself does it. Obvi 👑@katieporteroc.bsky.social

For all those people who think “the left got more radical,” this is what the evolution of the GOP has looked like over the past few years.

Give Bad Bunny all the flowers for his latest album. Just damn. I don’t even speak Spanish, let alone the beautiful PR dialect. I adore Neruda and have heard Puerto Ricans speak in metaphors. There were moments during this album that I was holding back tears and I am now a salsa goddess. 💃

Sometimes I think a little too hard about some of Chappell Roan’s lyrics and will just immediately break out in absolute red and smile wide as the moon uncontrollably. ☺️

We are learning about energy transfer through photosynthesis and food webs. Sea slugs are my new obsession, so naturally the students researched and created large pokemon cards all about the species of sea slug they liked best. This has been one of my favorite projects I’ve done this year.

It was never about the kids. Never about protecting women. Always about hate and wanting someone dead if they are different than you. I need people to start reading some philosophy and weighing outcomes. Many times you are the perpetrator of immense suffering when the outcomes never harmed you
I need y'all to sit with this headline and understand what is being done to our community. They're trying to criminalize our very existence.

This is a campaign of eradication.
