Started my summer with family. We rarely all get together. My dad with all three of his girls! :) leaning into this kinda magic.

I have two brothers who look so much like her! :)

Beautiful Momma Earth, I love you. You make me feel small, and the hate of some humans for other humans feels even less logical when I see what a magical foundation we have to be joyful upon.

I was just got home from magical Escalante, UT. Pure bliss. My greatest joy? This rock that I found! I almost didn’t stop to investigate because she’s so orange. In the good way.

PTA did a teacher appreciation week. The booklet they made with my students had me crying multiple times. Every child in my class brings me so much joy. Each one of them full of magic and quirky characteristics. To see so many adults cheer for worst outcomes because they’re so far removed. Kills me

I didn’t have many photos without the student’s faces. Sea slug projects were a hit. Kinders were engaged for twenty minutes happily learning about ecosystems and photosynthesis from their buddies. Sixth created Pokémon cards for their slugs tied to facts, a clay figure, and informative slides.

We’ll be seeing a hell of a lot more of this nonsense.

But they view them interchangeably because retard has been used to insult people with disabilities or imply someone is acting disabled. Retard was a medical diagnosis. Doctors used it for children. These are interconnected. Before autism children were misdiagnosed as retarded or schizophrenic

But if it’s SA or pedophilia the church seems to be more than fine intervening legally.

Can we distribute the Tao to schools instead of the Bible? Anyone? Please? 😆

Might I suggest a very neurodivergent friendly protest where we all just read this outside of churches and government buildings. We can even form book groups. Headphone warning before screaming commences. :) #protest #neurodivergent

Accurate. Utah and the LDS church have proven over and over again that they’d rather a dead child than one that may make them uncomfortable. We need politicians that can actually weigh outcomes and harm caused without religious bias.

We attack a student’s desk with kindness post-its! We’ve had a lot of absences, but it still makes the kids so happy. They hang the notes up in their cubbies. ❤️
