Folks, election day is TOMORROW Tuesday, Nov. 4! 🙌🗳️🍑

I am so proud of the race we’ve run, the broad progressive labor coalition we’ve built, and the countless hours we’ve spent speaking with voters in District 2. It’s clear Atlanta is ready for something new!

You can make any policy sound nice by using buzzwords like “affordable housing” and “equity”. But you need to look at the numbers and ask if these projects are actually delivering what they claim. TADs haven’t delivered for Atlantans who need affordable housing most!

It's undeniable: The Laken Riley Act violates immigrants' constitutional rights.
BREAKING: In what appears to be the first decision to address mandatory detention under the Laken Riley Act, a federal judge in Boston ruled today that detaining an individual solely on the basis of his prior arrest violates due process.

For the first time in my life, I’m carrying my citizenship papers everywhere I go. Born here. Raised here. Yet targeted because I’m Latino.

This is the America the Supreme Court has allowed to exist.

They were gas lighting her into thinking they didn’t call her but everyone hear it.

The people had our back and supported us.

We could all sense the injustice.

We thank all those brave enough to back us, we came alone but left in solidarity.

We were lucky enough to get our name called for a question.

Once the realized who it was they tried to deny my wife her chance to ask a question.

Someone even got the police behind her to intimidate her.

We have to build a new future, one where working people can’t be ignored, and where corruption can’t drag us back here again.

Our fight is to lay down that foundation, one that lifts the working class, breaks the grip of corruption, and ensures we never end up here again.

I watch Hamilton a lot. It reminds me of today. They faced impossible odds but still built something new, something different.

The Trump regime will collapse. That much is certain. But collapse alone doesn’t create a future.

That’s up to us.

I’m proud to be running to become the first Democratic Socialist on Atlanta City Council. We deserve a city that works for working people — not just corporations and the top 1%! 🌹

Read my interview with Jacobin! 👇
Across the country, democratic socialists are continuing to build their presence in municipal government. Kelsea Bond is hoping to become the first socialist on Atlanta’s city council.

From coast to coast, Democratic Socialists are running to fight Trump’s authoritarianism, defend our immigrant & trans neighbors, and organize to win affordable cities that work for the 99% — not just the billionaires. If you’re in D.C., donate & volunteer for Aparna! A better world is possible 🌹
People are being forced out of DC. The cost of living is too high, and Trump is waging an all-out assault on the District.

It should be easier and more affordable to build a life here.

That's why I’m running for DC Council in Ward 1.

History doesn’t just repeat, it gets streamlined.

Volkswagen thrived under Hitler.
Apple courted Trump.

Corporations will always choose fascism over freedom if it protects their profits.

They don’t serve the people.
They serve power.

@trackaipac.bsky.social Let me know how I can apply for a endorsement! I'm running against AIPAC candidate @repnikema.bsky.social for Georgia's 5th Congressional District!

We’re bringing the fight for civil rights back home to #Atlanta, where it belongs. #gapol
Public opinion is shifting, fast. But AIPAC still has hundreds of millions to crush dissent and buy off our politicians. We cannot let them win.

The mask is off. It’s time to expose AIPAC for what they are. Join us in this fight. Visit trackaipac.link/tide-is-turn... to learn more and take action.

It appears NIMBYs have coalesced around Courtney Smith as their preferred candidate for the open District 2 race, which covers the neighborhoods where the Streetcar East extension would have served.
