Senate Ds did fight every step of way, made the bill toxic, forced Tillis to retire, made them vote in broad daylight as bill got worse, nixed some truly awful parts. They need more members. In 2026, vote out every R. That is what the lesson is here.

I'm sorry people have to die so Americans can understand how terrible this administration is.
If this bill passes, the hospital closures start nearly immediately. Can't even imagine how many tens or hundreds of billions in corporate debt/credit is calculated on the presumption of these funds. We are potentially talking "GOP loses every single senate race in 2026" territory
Every major health system in Louisiana is warning Speaker Mike Johnson and the rest of the state’s congressional delegation that the Senate GOP’s planned Medicaid cuts “would be historic in their devastation.”

However, it has also resulted in frequent and very public failures.

There should be an independent body that reviews the data and issues ratings to insurers. And if they don't meet certain requirements they should be fined.
Insurers’ denial rates are a critical measure of how reliably they pay for customers’ care. But they remain mostly secret to the public.

Federal and state regulators have done little to change that.
