It's my 3rd Thanksgiving without my mom -- I'm losing track of the years (I had to check the math), but still feels like year 2 -- the same sadness and loss I felt last year... and the year before (which was only about 8 mo. since she passed). I have her cats here but I would rather my mom be alive.

Thanksgiving meal courtesy of Whole Foods Market: Sliced turkey breast, gravy, cranberry sauce, crispy green beans, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. Serves 4. Only 40 minutes to cook. Tasted great. Would be better if it had more gravy and cranberry sauce. Still worth the $33 for convenience.
