I think this is why Pierre Poilievre is polling so low with women: we've all dated him once and then pretended to have diarrhea to avoid him.

@lindaholmes.bsky.social I have to say that you are quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. I have read Evvie Drake multiple times and am currently listening to Back After This. So good.
"Knob in the butt" made me laugh out loud and I needed to stop and tell you that.
Thank you.

The Sexual Assault Centre for Edmonton (SACE) provides tremendous supports for sexual assault survivors in #yeg.

As of today, SACE has paused intake because of an unexpected funding cut by the Alberta Government.

This is absolutely devastating to SA survivors.

If you’re feeling down I wouldn’t read the report about what happened to Gene Hackman & Betsy Arakawa but I would recommend that you check in regularly with family or neighbours who are isolated.

There was a time in the past when the Nazis were just a government party.
Will there be a time in the future when Republicans stop being just a political party and are known worldwide as the worst kind of evil?

I made a list of Canadian owned food brands that are readily available at grocery stores.

I know there are other lists and websites out there, but some have inaccuracies or include American brands that are processed in 🇨🇦, and I wanted to really dig into Canadian-owned brands.

So, here's a thread!

I'm at my Derm's office and there is a clear sign that says to take off wet shoes, and I am the only person here in my socks! In my, now, very wet and dirty socks.

I'm crocheting the final touches on my 2024 temperature blanket and Phil is reading the last 10% of his final novel of the year.
That's how hard we party.

The event that defined my 2024 was seeing Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl. It was everything.
This episode of The Daily describes the experience and the importance of it perfectly: www.nytimes.com/2024/12/25/p...

In all seriousness, the best thing about Bluesky culture is “blocking other accounts for any reason at any time is totally acceptable,” and I strongly encourage new users to keep that in mind.

Block anyone who mildly annoys you! No gods, no masters! You owe NOTHING to HimmlerLicker69!

I don’t even mean because it hurt Trump. That’s nice too. But Jean stood up for sexual assault victims everywhere by facing down one of the most powerful men in the world. And she won.

This is a watershed day for survivors.
