GLP-1 agonists like Ozempic represent one of the greatest advances in metabolic and nutritional health of all time (w/ likely even more health benefits we haven’t fully discovered) but RFK thinks that anyone taking them is “stupid” and “addicted” and just didn’t really try hard enough to lose weight
RFK wants to restrict use of weight-loss drugs like Ozempic
More than 9million prescriptions for Ozempic and similar weight loss drugs are written every year in the US, estimates suggest - which is one of the world's fattest nations.

Avoidable things are killing our children.
After falling for decades, the childhood mortality rate has started to rise.

What’s killing kids? Trauma, drugs and firearms.

A Trump supporting, anti-trans, anti-gay Republican was elected commissioner of the county where I grew up. He won despite being in jail on election night for a sexual assault in Vegas.

It’s now come out that the woman he assaulted was his daughter.

Surely I misheard. There’s no way Dr. Oz, the OG grifter, president of grift university, has been tapped to lead the largest and most influential US healthcare entity.

Honey, stop what you're doing, new hyponatremia research just dropped!

What's it say?

It looks like slow correction is associated with worse outcomes, like death and length of stay!

Was it just a small study?

No, it was a meta-analysis of almost 12,000 patients!

Correction Rates and Clinical Outcomes in Hospitalized Adults With Severe Hyponatremia

Vaccines are life and disability saving.

No one wants to go back to a life where we didn't have these....whether they realize it or not.
Vaccines are life-saving.

Wow! Since I suddenly have some followers, I though I would introduce myself. I’m a {checks his age} mid-career physician practicing primarily internal medicine with some pediatrics. I have an amazing wife that runs a diaper pantry, a former 25 week daughter (now 12), and a clone (8 year old girl).
