Does anyone else find it crazy that you can walk into a bookshop and be charged £9.99 for a paperback novel that took the author a year to complete, but £17.99 for a completely blank notebook?

I might be a jerk. I’m often thoughtless and wrong but I’m not good at mean. Being mean breaks my soul. So, I get used and hurt a lot but the only thing worse than being near an asshole is being the asshole.
