Michael had a horrible night None of us slept. Clinic is going to be insane because of all of our weather closures and Beni’s is having surgery tomorrow. Me: time to cancel all my plans go into survival mode. Twenty minutes later, I’m making a pineapple rice stir fry. Why am I like this? #BWG

Had Republicans had just stuck to hammering Democrats on fraud they would've had a potent political weapon. Instead they turned it into a hate campaign against Somalis and an orgy of violence against Minnesotans and now we're getting statements like this 👇

I *think* I'm ready for the ice storm. Everyone has their medications. We have ice melt, flashlights, a camp stove, and snacks. I do not have a battery bank. If we do lose power tonight/tomorrow and my mom calls you, please tell her I'm safe and warm, and I'll call her when the power comes back on.

I have a job that is designed to be emotionally and physically exhausting. I could have picked an easier field of care, but I chose the frontlines of public health. I chose the team that chose me, not just for what I can do, but for who I am. I work with great people. #grateful
