You know who *doesn't* appear to have sent any emails? One notably high-VAR elite conspirator. Roy Cohn and Papa were apparently pretty successful at ingraining in him the basics of white-collar opsec.

One of Trump's superpowers is that he's *notably above average* at this stuff among his extended peer group(s), remarkably enough.
bsky.app/profile/data... As others have pointed out, if Thomas was using his NYT email address then he's not the only person who faces questions about what he failed to disclose, especially after he was fired for Epstein ties in 2019.
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

How sure are we that Thomas didn't copy his NYT sig block to a private email address? It would be a too-clever-by-half move, but a man who has incriminating discussions with Epstein over email might not be above that kind of thing.

As I usually say on these occasions: the Ochs-Sulzberger Trust is composed of a small number of individuals. If these people wanted A.J. Sulzberger gone from his post as NYT chief ed. he would have been gone long ago. It’s time for them to be asked questions about their continued support for him.

The US populist far right is using the US for its ideological purposes right now, so that’s not necessarily so encouraging for the future. (Yes the EU is harder to fully take over, while some EU far-rightists are smarter or more measured than the Trump movement, but that’s not all good news either.)

Is it bad when the iOS search results for a person’s name has a big picture of Epstein on the top of the search results rather than one of the person themselves?

This isn’t exclusive to Musk, it’s always been the problem with the crypto-religious zeal for Mankind’s Future in Space. Wherever you go, there you are.

Pelosi could have had Trump impeached and likely convicted that very evening if she’d wanted to, with no arrests necessary, no? That she didn’t seems to indicate that the problem wasn’t anything Milley did or didn’t do.

That’s the part that gets me most TBH. Lord knows I’ve missed signs and got my wires crossed while travelling, but “haha ruined, failing Britain” and “what do you mean, fly from IRELAND to Paris?” is bit of a heady combination.

Urgh, right. As a New York-based musicals lover and high-society orgiast/sex offender of a certain age, *of course* he'd be a big fan of /All That Jazz/: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UrX...

Come on, that’s totally untrue. Musk has a grisly record of fumbling relationships with beautiful women but he’s obviously been quite able to make them love him at the beginning.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=olqV... demolishes the 'saved in the edit' story very entertainingly. (My hot take is that maybe they shouldn't have done the big last-minute reordering, as it partly spoils one of the film's big moments.)

The fact that a number of people who plainly are emotionally invested, touchy Brexiteers have steady gigs and acclaim in Britain as various kinds of neutral Brexit expert shows that the problem isn't limited to the civil service, either.
