My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

My daughter completed the Cardiff half marathon is 2 hours and 6 minutes this morning. Very good especially as she's been injured for the past two months and managed 1 training run. Very proud.

My daughters beautiful little dog was attacked and killed on a walk with her a couple of months ago.
Bethan will be running the Cardiff 1/2 marathon on Sunday to raise money in her memory for the lovely charity she adopted her from. Amy help is appreciated.

Fabulous
Stephen Yaxley-Lennon being deported twice in 24 hours - first from Colombia, then from Panama - because he’s deemed a national security threat, just a week after he led a march calling for migrants to be deported, is the kind of schadenfreude we can all savour.

Just done a lovely thread on X about the WRU consultation / survey, so thought that I would add it here too ... first things first - the overriding purpose of a sporting governing body is to protect and to promote that specific sport. Above all else. Even above profit and financial success.

Jenrick has spent a great deal of energy on his makeover from boring, forgettable, mediocre Tory into vicious-far-right-nationalist-race-baiter, in his desperate mission to shoehorn himself into power. One of the most repulsive politicians out there.

You've GOT to be kidding me!

The Conservatives - who oversaw every single thing on this list - are trying to claim that only the Conservatives would "stop the madness" - that they created...?

So incredulity aside, what about the list itself?

Not to be a wide-eyed naïf about such things but... am I right in thinking that they levelled an entire building to get to one guy and *that* is not controversial to anyone in the American media or political class, only that this information was recklessly shared in an unsecured chat?

USA has fallen & the word is now a far more dangerous place. The only way to guarantee sovereignty is with nuclear weapons. That's the result of Trump's short-sightedness. Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, German & Japan all need to think about getting their own nukes, because US can no longer be trusted

Well that was a kick in the nads for all those who said nobody else could have done better than Gatland. He and his coaches have been a hand brake for Wales.

Just arrived in Rome. Weather is clear and bright. Just like Wales's future under Gatland!
Love this city so here's to 4 great days :)

Fingers crossed Wales put in a decent performance for me

Saddest thing for me as a Wales fan is the collective lack of anger. This is what the Union have taken us too. An acceptance that we are poor and apathy about improvement. They've driven down ambition and expectation.
We should be demanding better - the players deserve better

Gatland is truly stealing a living. I've just watched 15 game guys giving everything for 80 minutes and yet never looking remotely like scoring a point. Some very good Welshman being made to look pedestrian by their own systems as much as the outstanding opposition

Regan Grace not involved for Bath against Northampton this weekend. You do increasingly feel a loan move to Cardiff would make sense for all concerned. He needs rugby and Cardiff need a winger, with Mason Grady, Theo Cabango, Iwan Stephens, Harri Millard and now Gabe Hamer-Webb all injured.

Decent tonight from Cardiff. Good defense and quick outside backs. Some dog at forward too. Appalling officiating though. I've seen better sets of officials at parks pitch level than those tonight.
