Just getting used to neuro divergence as the Alzheimer's begins to kick in. Must get a less scary profile pic.
That was a fun read, it's a pity the ones who need to can't. 1/3 of American voters polled are fine with it all if it screws someone they don't like more than it screws them. Let's hope MAHA manages to reduce that number. Significantly
A malignant narcissist is incapable of withstanding ridicule, so please share this as widely as possible.

Thanking you all in advance, Mar🐫

And that's why I like bluesky!
Reading this thread with wider and wider grin.
We lifted the lid on "specialist" erotic literature for Ireland's most discerningly horny farmers.

Fun fact: *Two* publishers contacted us about this book. One wanted us to make it for real, the other presumed it was real but out of print and wanted our copy so they could look into reprinting.

Dear media, please don’t bother with a review of the year. We were there. We know what happened. It was a shitshow. Give us a review of next year and make it good. Thanks.

I cannot believe that staff dishing out vaccines in a flu and COVID surge are not prioritised for their own vaccinations. Is this deliberate? Trying to finish off the NHS ready for selloff?

He's making a list,
he's checking it twice,
he's searching his pockets,
and finding his keys,
and checking the list again,
and making sure the lights are off,
now where's the list?
ok, found it, check again,
wait, did he lock up?
Santa Claus is getting,
too old for this shit.

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Well that's the trouble. We did. We voted out the Tories, only to get a government that now does the same or worse. It's not hard to see why people feel like giving up on politics.
Vote them out. Replace them with something better. Or stay home and order pizza and scroll cats on Insta while demanding universal basic income and complaining about politics. But you can't have both #Democracy

I'm old enough to remember despising Thatcher the first time around, when she was still alive, and it’s bad enough when assorted Tory creeps try to channel her dismal spirit, but when a Labour Home Secretary names Thatcher as her hero, we’re seeing unashamed political necrophilia.

Don’t you dare call us fascists, they say, as they force people off the airwaves for criticizing them while vowing to crush and criminalize their opposition.

We didn’t win two world wars so that foreigners could invade us. In fact we didn’t win two world wars at all. They were won by an alliance of nations, whose soldiers fought and died for our freedoms, including freedom of speech, which is abused by exploiting it to spread xenophobic hatred.

Countries with millions of people really should be able to find less shit people to lead them.

If, instead of the best your country has to offer, you’re getting markedly much worse people than a random selection would be likely to produce, something is deeply systemically wrong.

Saying that the St George flag waved at a far-right march is a symbol which “belongs to all of us” is like calmly discussing the elegance of Sanskrit symbolism and design during a Nuremberg rally.

The mistake many will make is to let the far right protestors take all the blame. Yes some are racist, drunk thugs. But they’ve been emboldened by mainstream politicians and media who have profited from racist, anti migrant, anti Muslim narratives. Now they’ll be ‘disgusted’ or distance themselves.

Govt should take this message seriously.

The far right, backed by the world's richest man, is actively stoking racial & political violence.

Staying quiet, flattering them, saying "we hear you" won't work.

Stand up for decency, for respect, for the best of modern Britain or watch those things burn
Elon Musk spoke by video to Tommy Robinson's anti-immigrant rally in the UK today.

"You're in a fundamental situation here where, whether you choose violence or not, violence is coming to you," said Musk. "You either fight back or you die."

The scenes on our streets are shameful consequences of decades of austerity - government after government fanning the flames of anti migration instead of tackling inequality.

We can & must make different choices. Solidarity to all communities under attack. We stand together.

I have been unable to locate any public statements or condemnation from you over these murders, @albomp.bsky.social. Unlike Charlie Kirk.

Why is this? Did I just miss it? #auspol

Probably the most important but neglected scandal about Mandelson.

Epstein was close to Peter Thiel. Thiel had secret meetings with Cummings and Johnson before Palantir’s 100m contract

Mandelson’s Global Counsel was pitching Thiel’s Palantir to Starmer.

What a carousel of cronyism
