Flooding in Gaza camps has been a huge setback for so many Palestinian families. Maysara and I have been staying in touch while they try to combat the winter rains on top of everything else. Emergency funds were needed for medical care, blankets, and repairing the tent.

Veins by DREW I started doing slogans when I was 18. That's just a phrase you say to advertise someone's company. They're free to make, but they're worth a lot if you get the right one. For example, "It's cold. It's dessert. We call it ice cream." That works for any ice cream company. Or you can make a specific slogan like "Take a bite out of life. Apple Computer." The logo of Apple has a bite in it, so it's perfect. Every company needs a slogan so you remember them. Even regular things like lamps need a slogan. A lot of people probably think lamps are no big deal, but wait until it gets dark outside. Then you really appreciate them. A hundred years ago when it got dark, we would just have to go to bed, but not now. "Thanks, Lamps." That's a lamp slogan. "Don't live half your life in the shadows." That's another one they could use. In Finland, they only have sun half of the year, and they get depressed. It can happen to anyone. Companies like Apple or lamp companies can afford to spend money on slogans, because it's all profit. You don't need anything special to make a lamp. All you need is a lightbulb and a dream. Put quotes around that, because it's another great slogan. Bug spray is really expensive, so I tried to catch some spiders and put them in my apartment, to be natural predators. I only got 6 spiders, and after I put them under my bed, all they did was make spiderwebs. I had to pull all the spiderwebs I found (they are gross and make your apartment look dirty) but they kept making more every day. I got tired of pulling them, so I squashed the spiders I could find and looked on the internet to find other predators. When I searched online it said the main predator of bugs was lizards, but I didn't want to get them. Lizardwebs would be even worse (because they are bigger than spiders) and I didn't want to be sitting at home and have them stare at me with their dead eyes. You don't know if they are going to just snap and bite you, or s---- on your bed, because they don't have eyebrows, or emotions. I still don't like swimming. When I drive by the water park I start feeling nervous like someone's going to yell at me. They'll take my glasses, and they'll put me on the slide, and when I get to the bottom I can't find my glasses, and I'm cold, and my skin is poisoned. Swimming for me is like going to a store, and as soon as you walk in, they put a blindfold on you and spray Raid. Then, when you get back home, everyone tells you "I love that store."

Here's the Garlic (aka Medulla) nebula in all of its glory. This is a very dim target. I collected about 53 hours of data with 38 of that being spent on the hydrogen. I don't normally post the starless versions of my images but it was just too good not to include.
