THE GODS OF MARS (1979)
Acrylic - 25” x 34”

This is one of my favorite books in the series, and there were many scenes I could have chosen to illustrate. 1/6

The Gate (1987) is such a fun movie. I am so annoyed I never discovered it as a kid. I would have been obsessed with it!

Watching Jurassic Park, where a computer nerd with a debt problem and delusions of grandeur tears down all the safety systems, with no understanding of the consequences, so he can better facilitate his planned espionage and theft.

The Royal Rumble was fun, even though the winner for the women's match was rather predictable.

Johnny Mnemonic in Black and White is a triumph. It's still the theatrical cut of the movie, but you can tell it wasn't just a filter put over the film. This was painstakingly done to really bring the film to life. Robert Longo is an artist, and it shows in this treatment. Seek it out if you can.

Going to see Johnny Mnemonic in Black and White tonight. I have a soft spot for that film so I'm intrigued to see this alternative version.

Hi, I'm Matt, and my handwriting looks like a spider crawled over wet ink.
Hello, I could do really well if I just applied myself.
Introduce yourself with your worst feedback from school:

Hi, I’m Ted and I’m a destructive influence ruining the class

(I did NOT like PE or the teacher running it, and he hated that I not only didn’t try but that others stopped bothering to hang out with me)
