You’re a good reader, Nick, and I mean that in a non-condescending way. Thanks for giving these a shot.
Fever House is helluva first read of 2026. I appreciate @keithrosson.bsky.social grounding what could be an otherwise pulpy horror plot in very real and personal stakes. There's no throwaway character or violent moment taken for granted, even for an impending apocalypse. On to The Devil by Name! 🤘

I appreciate it!

Hey, thank you so much!
This by @keithrosson.bsky.social is an example of incredible writing, the world always immediately leaps into life the second you start reading, like the best of Stephen King. Highly recommended.

A, go pound sand, homophobe. B, you really wanna get your wig peeled back, try some Hailey Piper or Eric LaRocca. Happy New Year!

Hell yeah, thank you!
I just finished Coffin Moon by @keithrosson.bsky.social and let me tell you, that book has the fuckin' JUICE. It is so good. And as a former North Portlander, it was really nice to see some of my old stomping grounds on the page. I never visited the Childrens' Museum, but I can believe it was there🤘

As someone who often conducts fieldwork in remote places, I find it really irritating that many basic applications now require an internet connection to function.

9-year-old got a fancy Walkman for Xmas, which she has been pining for for months. I got to make her a mixtape of her favorite records: KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, The Spikes “Six Sharp Cuts” 12”, and a live Jean-Luc Ponty LP. Kid is such an eccentric little weirdo, I love it.

My kids are at a birthday party at a trampoline park and the septuagenarian security guard here has a Punisher patch on his gear 🧐

Unputdownable *is* a word, and it's a bloody good job because Fever House by @keithrosson.bsky.social is exactly that.

Thank you @thehauntedstacks.bsky.social for recommending it as a gift for me

💙📚🩸 A gripping, propulsive, bloody & brutal novel, COFFIN MOON is filled w scares, scars, & scarlet. @keithrosson.bsky.social has written another great, unrelenting Horror tale- this one a vivid, volatile story of vamps & victims, of rage & revenge, and you will be compelled to devour it. #MSReview

Raaaad, hope it works for you!
Today is mostly about the kids ripping apart wrapping paper, but I'm very much looking forward to diving into @keithrosson.bsky.social's FEVER HOUSE sometime over the holiday, because it sounds absolutely amazing

Tis the season, everybody! Here's my 3rd grade letter to Santa, in which I ask for both a machine gun and world peace.

Some wayyyy spun dude tried to fight me in front of my kids on our way to buy wrapping paper, the whole intersection of Lombard and Interstate is so resoundingly sketchy, man

Andrew Tate and Jake Paul, mouthpieces for so much toxicity and rancidness, both got shitkicked this weekend? AND I finished a story tonight? What an immeasurably horrible year this has been, but it's nice to get a couple minute glimmers in these last days.

This caveat in the SFWA Nebula Awards:

"Works that used LLMs at any point during the writing process must disclose this upon acceptance of the nomination, and the nature of the technology’s use will be made clear to voters on the final ballot."

Seriously? AFTER nominations? Why not just "No AI"?
