Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

Really depressing but not unsurprising to hear and see commentators across the networks scramble to weaponise the terrible events and loss of life in Manchester yesterday.

Maybe they could give it a day off and actually mourn the victims.

In the late 1980s Radio 1 was massively over-represented by Kershaws despite Kershaws making up just 0.05% of the broadcasting industry.

100% of them turned out to be very problematic indeed.
Wait until Liz finds out what percentage of the UK mammal population are meerkats…

'Farage Boats' is a useful term and should be normalised.
“I would gently point out to Nigel Farage that before we left the EU we had a returns agreement with every country in the EU. He told the country it would make no difference if we left. He was wrong about that. These are Farage boats in many senses coming across the channel” 👏

Today, Trump claimed not to know who Peter Mandleson is. An obvious & egregious lie but one which highlights why the regime is so keen to silence anyone telling the truth. On the current trajectory, he will soon be able to claim that he's never heard of Melania without any pushback at all.

You have to keep pointing out this ridiculous, obvious, weapons grade absurdity, moral corruption & hypocrisy. Even - no, *especially* - when you’re wondering whether it’s even worth it anymore…

It’s *always* worth it.
“We will police the streets and not the tweets and change all that damaging legislation,” says Nigel Farage on stage at Reform – just after welcoming the minister responsible for passing the Online Safety Act onto the stage with him, and into his party.

It seems unlikely that the richest men in the world are so worried about footing the bill for decent regulation of the online space that they’ve signed up pliant politicians to invent a non-existent ‘free speech crisis’. Until you remember just how greedy you have to be to become that rich…

Brexit was an attempted counter-revolution against many of the changes this country has gone through since 1945. It has turned out to be a failure with elements of farce. This has driven many people on the Right completely mad.

BREAKING: Homelessness Minister Rushanara Ali resigns after it was revealed she had moved out tenants in her rented home and then raised the rent.

Extraordinary how much of the media is essentially trying to incite rioting now. Not just legitimise or normalise but actively encourage. It is, of course, unlikely to kick off anywhere near them.
