Sat quietly with a cuppa pondering the run report tomorrow. Always like to find a new angle, current thinking is numbers. Close to the heart of parkrun in many ways!

Parkrun at Walsall Arboretum today. A warm morning for the time of year. It’s a lovely urban park and I heard wrens and a long tailed tit close by. Britain’s urban parks are always pleasant. #parkrun #walsall

In my view the best run of tunes (and albums) of his career. Agree he did move to suit his age, though one could argue - so did his audience which includes me.
Nick Lowe figured out he was, in all likelihood, going to age and began writing and tailoring his material with that in mind. And he’s done really good work.

Enjoyed the South Manchester parkrun today. In this pic you can see the last Marshall who was smiling as we passed and walked out despite the rain and volunteering alone. Thank you. #parkrun

Is anyone at End of the Road festival going to a parkrun next Saturday please? I’m keen to attend but don’t have a car. Happy to share a cab, or to contribute to a car ride. #eotr #parkrun

I’ll even buy a coffee!

Our garden still has the odd gem from the previous owner who left in 2006. The garden was fully remade and yet amongst everything this cyclamen grew again. Always makes me smile.

As a man with two daughters I cannot fathom how this can be acceptable in any way. Everyone needs a vote.
United States Defense Secretary Pete Hesgeth has just reposted a video saying that women should not have the right to vote. I don’t need to read fiction about how bad it is to be born female; I am living it now.

Having read this and made a multi train holiday across Europe to Italy and toured by train, I’m amazed things are so bad. We were stunned at trains on time and working well.

Love this.
There’s renewable energy ads and there’s mother**cking wind farm ads. This, blissfully, is the latter.

@tomrobinson.com I got followed by Tom, I just want to say how much he shaped my youth and those time have shaped my life. As a public school boy in 1979 being left wing meant you were called Trotsky, embracing gay culture meant you were gay. Not only were the politics eye opening the music/band…

Liz Truss at CPAC Hungary,

"It used to be the case that people would flee Eastern Europe to go to countries like Britain where there was freedom, where there was free speech, where there was free enterprise"

"Now people are leaving Britain, to come to Budapest to talk about free speech"
