The UK needs to ditch FPTP as soon as possible. It's bonkers that a party can get a supermajority on the back of 30% of the popular vote. A result based on proportional representation would more accurately reflect the views of the country.

Reform UK are yelling “drill, baby, drill” 🙄 But fracking is reckless & won’t even cut bills. Time to end this nonsense. Tell Ed Miliband: BAN FRACKING permanently. Add your name:

What a shocking #VAR decision in Chelsea v Fulham. I agree with Danny Murphy for once.

I'm baffled by so much negativity around Amorim, that too after only 2 games into the season!

We've played 2 good teams, our new attack is still getting to know each other, and the need for a mid is an open secret.

Win next 2 games, and kickstart the season, let's support the team!

This is a completely misleading title. "The US faces higher taxes on imports from dozens more countries" would be accurate. This title makes it seem like the exporters are paying. I didn't know Reuters and The Guardian swallowed Trump's lies!

Reform UK has uncovered the scandal of a “wasteful” £350m contract.

Small problem: it’s not a contract. Or £350m. Or a scandal.
But apart from that, spot on! 😬

So, Man United are not as skint as Ratcliffe says they are then? Hence them bidding £50m+ for Mbeumo.

An entire article in the @theguardian.com about the film Conclave and not a single mention of Robert Harris, who wrote the book that the film is based on. Shocking journalism.

Hello Bluesky people! I haven't formed an opinion of this place yet, having only been invited to join yesterday. Are there many here from the UK?
I don't have any great shafts of wit or wisdom to contribute this morning, so here's a nice photo of a bee.
