Fortunately, he somehow found time to be Chair of the London Stock Exchange, a stockbroker for 30 years and on the board of HSBC.

40 years ago today it was Friday, it was five to five and it was Crackerjack. Keith Harris & Orville. Plus The Kane Gang. Keith H the only man I ever saw arrive in leather pants and change into something less showbiz for the stage.

This was me last night. I might have had a couple of extra beers in celebration of The Kane Gang selling out the first gig in 40 years in a couple of hours.
