Doing lots of different things. Diving, computering, photography, writing...and putting a bunch of that online because WHY NOT?

I'm trying random things here, let's see where it goes!
Taking a good pic of this pic is outrageously difficult

Lowest setting. CSS powered flamethrower!

Yes, it is really controlled by CSS. I can add MIDI inputs. Then use CSS to trigger animations and output the result to DMX for controlling the flamethrower.

Ok, here it is: ATProto blog posts collection - I collected a lot of interesting blog posts about Bluesky/ATProto things written since 2023* by the team & the community, and put them in one list grouped into sections (there's even a quick search field at the top):

ATProto blog posts collection
I come across a lot of blog posts about the AT Protocol and Bluesky technicals – both on Bluesky official blogs and those of the team members, and by independent developers from the community. So many...

Friend of mine brought his Nikon F4 to check if the "weird diagonal stripes" happened because of the camera, the film or the lab.

It wasn't the camera - I took a few really nice pictures with it, developed the film myself to make sure it isn't the lab.

I'll be rolling up all these additions into a blog post this week, but I just noticed that our Migration Guide (https://atproto.com/guides/account-migration) was missing from the docs nav until just now, if anyone needs it!

It used to be so much easier on the internet. You’d have a video of a dramatic chipmunk and everyone would agree it was perfect but then you could add a little lightsaber to him and everyone would go huzzah now the text is even richer

we, the atproto ecosystem, have failed you.
personal favorite is:
atproto = street
apps like bsky = different houses on the same block

each house can have its own party
you can see & wave to folks across the street
and even if one party boots you, you can take all your stuff elsewhere and party on
so people not on bsky have no idea how shit works on here

it was this time last year that i first started working on atproto projects — what a fun journey it’s been… highly recommend just making something, anything, if you’ve been sitting on the sidelines watching and wanting to jump in!

Contrary to some media reports, heat pumps aren’t new tech — they’ve been around for 100+ years!

✅ First built in 1856 by Peter von Rittinger
✅ Zurich City Hall used one from 1938–2001
✅ UK’s first in 1945 (Norwich)
✅ ~200 million in use worldwide today

discussions are happening on the IETF ATP mailing list about working group scope and high-level goals.

if you care about how the existing protocol meshes into the standards process machine, I encourage you to weigh in!
