Two counties I have been to that overpromise and underdeliver:

Skamania County, Washington: no two-tone scene evident. Spotted no trombones or pork pie hats when I visited.

Licking County, Ohio: named for the local Licking River. Not a hotbed of ice cream scoop shops or lesbian bars.

I was only at #nokings DTLA for a very short time, but I did get a little video from my bike camera of people heading through the 2nd Street tunnel to the rally.
