Stable genius.
It seems like the trick to negotiating with Trump is to realize he doesn’t have any idea what the current facts are.

Genuinely insane that a major newsroom isn't running a live post today trying to verify what is and what isn't being impacted by the federal funding freeze. Embarrassing how bad the media response is to this.
Based on the frantic questions I've googled recently — "how do executive orders works," "can gay marriage be repealed," "what is the Office of Personnel Management," "do food stamps still work," — only to find nothing from media outlets, I'm ready to say the mainstream media is in serious trouble.

This is incredible.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro's full post ordering an increase of import tariffs on U.S. goods, says he doesn't really like traveling to the U.S. because it's “a bit boring” and invokes the ancestors

How a network of politicians, church officials, and activists, all united by a conviction that the separation of church and state is illegitimate, strategized to dramatically expand private-school vouchers in Ohio.

The hardest part of being on bed rest after spinal surgery is avoiding all the Nosferatu spoilers until I am able to see it in the theatre. It’s been a real challenge, because how are there already so many clips on TikTok??

Surprised Marlon James' Get Millie Black hasn't had more buzz around it. One of the things I like about it is it's not overextended like so many TV thrillers have been of late. Five episodes and we're going to be done. Excited for the finale on Monday. www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/televis...
