There's been some confusion about how the EU deal covers pharmaceuticals and semiconductors. The EU has negotiated a carveout, a White House official confirms to me. When 232 investigations on pharma and semis come into effect, the EU tariff will still be 15%, even if others' tariff rates rise.

Der er lang vej til en troværdig europæisk atomparaply, men det er en diskussion vi er nødt til at have. Det er ganske enkelt uholdbart hvis autokratierne i verden har atomvåben, mens demokratierne ikke har denne beskyttelse. Og det er konsekvensen af at vi ikke længere kan stole på USA.
Selv tyskerne ønsker sig en europæisk atomparaply – og der er grund til at handle, for vi er »i alvorlige problemer«

Der er lang vej til en troværdig europæisk atomparaply, men det er en diskussion vi er nødt til at have. Det er ganske enkelt uholdbart hvis autokratierne i verden har atomvåben, mens demokratierne ikke har denne beskyttelse. Og det er konsekvensen af at vi ikke længere kan stole på USA.
