We're disappearing college students because their opinions are deemed threats to foreign policy as the Trump Administration is literally sharing classified information and military strikes on an unsecured Signal chat with journalists.

The whole point is we don’t know if they are ‘foreign alien terrorists’! That’s the whole point of due process, and evidence, and a courtroom. We don’t take the government’s say so, especially a government with a history of relentless mendacity.

The people Attorney General Bondi is calling “terrorists” have had no trial and no chance to defend themselves. We do not know who they are. Ignoring the Constitution does not make us safe. It puts us all in peril.

These people who’ve been deported for allegedly being gang members - do we have any reason to believe they’re all actually, not just allegedly, Venezuelan? Seems the Trump apparatus is much more interested in being arbitrary than in proving its claims.

Trump & Republicans are deporting alleged sex offenders and immigrants without any due process while inviting and embracing Andrew Tate & his brother who are obscene misogynists accused of sex trafficking. Also, MAGA worships Trump, a man held liable for sexual assault.

It's a morally broken cult.

NEW: Why trying to understand what the Trump admin did in response to the TRO matters.

Planes were in the air. They kept going.

What did they do, and why? I strongly believe that it matters for our future that we work to understand what is happening at times like this.

I hope Prof. Snyder is right.
Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

The @wsj.com has come out against #RFKJr. There is NO rationale for any Senator to support this man. Zero. Nada. Zilch. He is hazardous to our health. Call your Senators. Now. Again tomorrow. On Wednesday and Thursdays and until this nightmare is over.
The WSJ editorial board out with a piece today opposing confirmation of RFK, Jr.

He’s made millions from referring clients to trial lawyers, and he advocates mass tort litigation that would ruin the vaccine industry.

Jan 6 was investigated and largely prosecuted as domestic terrorism. The pardons should be reported and spoken of accordingly. An endorsement of terrorism. Trump sprung his terrorist network - including, by extension, himself.

A lot of immigrants who are here legally are going to reconsider staying in America. Many who were coming will go elsewhere. All of this will only HURT America, especially out economy.

White supremacy is always self-destructive, but this is what a plurality of US voters wanted, so here we go.

In 2025 America, you can commit any crime as long as you're wearing a MAGA hat.

A violent insurrection? You're a patriot. Killing people at a BLM rally? You're now pardoned. Beating up police officers at the Capitol? Freedom fighter. Sexually assault a woman? You're in Trump's Cabinet.

Without govt funding you simply don't have the community of scientists scattered across the US that helped the US to take the lead in scientific development in the 20th century!
Members of Congress should be all over how this affects their districts!

NIH appears to have canceled/postponed all of its study sections—the independent review panels that approve federal grants for health research.

Such grants fund the work/salaries of 300k people at more than 2,500 institutions
All NIH study sections canceled indefinitely. This will halt science and devastate research budgets in universities.
