Years ago, an Indian immigrant coworker was shocked there was no outcry over their dominance in tech up to CEOing Google and Microsoft.

I smugly cited the American melting pot, where talent and hard work superseded ethnicity. That was then. The celebration of that ideal feels like a distant memory.

Bernie Sanders is calling for a temporary pause on AI data center construction nationwide.

He says a pause would "give democracy a chance to catch up" with the rapid build-out.

He's concerned about potential AI-driven job losses and the tech's effect on human relationships.

I think this will be the endgame for any entity that wants to preserve the integrity of its testing processes including job interviews. It’s too difficult to outpace AI-based cheating at this point.

Someone screwed up the target development. Either Trump’s team got played by someone in the Nigerian government to settle a score for them or our own intel folks screwed up the targeing. Unfortunately, Hegseth got rid of the civilian harm mitigation folks that would’ve checked the homework.
