As Maya Angelou said, “when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”

This is a clear violation of the Constitution and another indefensible step in Trump’s march to serve himself instead of our country.

The irony of claiming to be a champion of free speech while removing people with legal status from the country for exercising their First Amendment rights and punishing lawyers for representing clients you don’t like is truly maddening

Really feel like I’m losing my mind: government OBVIOUSLY cannot punish an individual law firm for hiring someone it disfavors! It’s ludicrously unconstitutional and I feel like without a day of law school I could argue the case. And yet the best paid lawyers in the country are folding?

The President’s attacks on the legal profession, judges, and the rule of law is inconsistent with our nation’s values.

Members of the legal community are invited to join us in signing this letter to ask AG Bondi to oppose attacks on the legal profession ➡️ democracyforward.org/action/open-letter-ag/
US conservative, Democratic lawyers urge Bondi to defend lawyers and firms
More than 700 lawyers and legal groups representing diverse viewpoints have signed onto a letter urging U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to defend the independence of attorneys and law firms, as the Trump administration escalates attacks on some of the country’s top law offices.

At the end of the day it really doesn’t matter how much money you have in the bank if you can’t look yourself in the mirror and say “when it came time to stand up for what’s right and just, that’s what I did.”

Yesterday, Trump targeted me at a speech be the Department of Justice. If he thinks it will cause me to back down he is wrong. My law firm is currently litigating 46 pro-democracy cases in 21 states, with more to come.

We are not done fighting and we are not done winning.
