As a francophone friend in Montreal told me when I asked if this would bolster Quebec nationalism "Separatism was a Boomer Project. It's over. We are with Canada. Fuck Trump."
Maybe all the people worried that a proper response will cause national unity issues are listening too much to Danielle Smith and underestimating Canadians' resolve.
