🧪 The proposed budgets for NIH, NASA, and NSF would be at their lowest levels in over 25 years.

These are not serious requests, and Congress should not treat them as such.

But Congress also needs to be actively told that. Let your voice be heard: 5calls.org
How bad will it be? Catastrophic.

Proposed cuts to #NSF, #NIH, and #NASA will set the US R&D landscape back 25 yrs+, cause economic and job loss now, and undermine innovations to come.

But, this is the WH's *proposed* budget.

Speak up now before it is too late.

I'm genuinely SO excited about the new ocean map that will be at the heart of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich when this hall reopens on June 7th. It's an unusual ocean-focussed map with so much detail, and it's just brilliant. 🌊🌊 Here's a sneak peak.

Here’s how Trump’s war on science is going. NSF funding is at the lowest level in decades. We’ll lose knowledge, generations of scientists, and US competitiveness.

What a time to be trying to promote anything, I know. I'm trying to keep it to the barest minimum. But 1) this is how I make a living and 2) fiction still matters. Our novels still matter. Coming together as a group to talk about our art still matters.
