My spinning project over the last 2 weeks has been spinning up 700g of pink fibre ready for another crochet project. I bought this fibre at Wonderwool Wales this year, at the John Arbon stall.

I am working on the alpaca fleece. I have one fleece carded and put in paper bags. I have started carding the second of the brown fleeces. Now I have 4 bags ready to use. I have test spun a bit. I am overspending it a bit but it is nice to spin, just dusty, even after washing.

New crochet project using yarn from @mothyandthesquid.bsky.social . The name of this colourway is Chaffinch from the British birds collection. The yarn is a 75% Bluefaced Leicester 25% nylon mix.

Gallstones suck 😕. Finally, I finished this piece. A friend asked me to make this top and supplied the yarn. The pattern is from Doris Chan's book Convertable Crochet. The colour of the top is more of a rich forest green colour. The photographs don't show the colour well. #crochet

I've been making rolags of Black Welsh Mountain wool & Hill Radnor wool to spin. I bought this wool late last year to finish a project from earlier in the year. I have been waiting for the availability of this wool & for building work at the house to be finished so that I can resume this project.

My daughter-in-law asked me to make my grandson a bonnet type hat with bunny ears. I think it worked out well 😊. The pattern is available on the leftinknots website.
