What is Dad playing?

When that thing broke, I looked at my dad in wide-eyed terror, he waited just a beat, nodded his head and said “yep.”

Struck out lookin’ on the next pitch.
everybody who played baseball up to a certain point remembers the first time they saw a curveball. as seth galina once said: we had to grow up right then and there in the batters box
baseball is *so* easy to know when it's not for you anymore. the step up in pitching quality or batters teeing off on you tells you immediately

I know it is very dumb to put stock in celebrities or whatever but just for tonight, it was good to see Seth come out swinging.

Knightdale BBQ on US-64 Business (original location, not the brick building they’re in now)
Ok southerners: Drop the bbq place from your youth that might not actually be the best but you will defend it cause yours.

Mine: Stubby’s in Hot Springs, AR (original Park Ave location please)

Noah Wyle won the Emmy for the whole season but he definitely clinched it with That One Scene. Award-winning breakdown acting.

The funniest part of any Tarantino movie is when Tom Wopat pops up in Django.

Graham Greene was great in everything I ever saw him in, but his performance as Rains Fall in Red Dead Redemption II was really excellent. Not only is his arc moving, Rains Fall is also integral to Arthur’s story…well, one pathway of it. Greene made all that come alive.

Get as many NIH-funded studies going again as I could afford
The Powerball cash option is nearly 500 million. What outlandish thing would you do or buy if you won?

My kid randomly decided we should pick an EPL team. She said we should try to trace family back to an English city. On mom’s side, we hits on Irish, Welsh, Scots connections & finally found some folks in Westminster & Christchurch. She said a London club would be based. So we landed on Bournemouth.

This sucks. Especially for Banda, but also the league is far better with her in it. Hope she bounces back.
Wishing you all the best in your recovery, Barbra 💜

We have placed forward Barbra Banda on the season-ending injury list following an adductor injury sustained in our recent match vs. Kansas City.
