She begrudgingly agrees, but is not enthusiastic about having to watch a child. Gustopher has found a random photo and is asking about it. Gustopher: Who is this? Iris: My husband. Gustopher: Any pictures of your kids? Iris: We don't have any. Panel 2 Gustopher finds this odd. He thought everyone had kids when they got married. Gustopher: Why? Iris: Because I eat kids who ask too many questions. Panel 3 Gustopher knows that adults are joking when they say stuff like but can't help but feel that Iris sounded too serious when she said it. He look back to see her sipping menacingly from a mug that says "BOAR FACE". Panel 4 Gustopher: I can't tell if you're joking. Iris: Me too.

Panel 3 We now see May in the kitchen sipping from her ugliest coffee mug that is conveniently labelled "UGLY MUG". Her husband and August's father, Fergus, is looking at what's in the freezer. Looks like it's just an ice cream container that's been filled with soup. May: That can't be. What would someone gain from faking that? Panel 4 May is beginning to question August's questioning of questionable things. Where in the world could he have obtained this questioning habit. May: Why do you question everything? August: That's how you raised me! It's okay, May will soon forget about the abundance of AI generated videos of bird flying off with innocent babies after she stumbles onto the AI generated videos of elderly women being thrown out of windows.

Not officially confirmed but Nelvana, one of Canada's most storied animation studios, appears to have quietly closed down on Friday, yet another casualty of Corus Entertainment's struggle to survive.

It was, to a great extent, the playground I grew up in. It breaks my heart where the industry is going. This company deserved better announcement around this. Better celebration of its contribution to the Canadian entertainment system. But just…. nothing. Twitter conversation: Jason the Cartoon Fan on January 17: Nelvana is in serious danger of going defunct, with its assets folded into the rest of its parent company Corus Entertainment. jenbrained on August 31: Closed its doors on Friday. One of Canadas oldest and most prolific animation studios, produced hundreds of works, just gone in a snap. Some know this animation studio for their work on Rock & Rule, Star Wars Holiday Special, Droids and Ewoks. I knew them for incredible 90s shows that captured my imagination as a child. As a teen in 2006, Nelvana gave me my first foray into professional voice over with Lab Rat in Grossology, my first and only anime roles as Zeo in Beyblade: Metal Masters and Wynton Bakugan: Battle Planet, along with countless other productions up until this past year.
