Just did a quick trip in a very efficient EV and noticed the energy used was about 20 times more than it would have been by an ebike.

If you drive in winter, the most pro-social thing you can do is just have patience. Slow down. Wait for pedestrians. Wait for cyclists. Park farther away and walk if you need to in order to keep bike lanes and bus stops and crosswalks clear. You’re in a mobile living room, you’ll be fine.

So used to the success of banning this in Edinburgh that it’s weird to see it still tolerated in other cities. Like visiting a country where you can still smoke in pubs and restaurants. Dark ages stuff.
