Several new followers recently, so here's a "HELLO" post. I teach gifted kids. I'm a big Chiefs fan. I have many nerdy interests, including Transformers, Godzilla, and comic books. I've also written four books! Two are sci-fi adventures, and two are about lil' nerdy Marc. More at marcallie.com!

Got a fancy new controller! Instead of getting the Switch 2 Pro, I opted for the 8BitDo Ultimate 2. The charging stand, and Hall effect sticks gave it the edge. Oh who am I kidding, it's the cool NES look that made the decision for me lol.

Friends, have I got a treat for you today. We spent a couple days in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and stumbled on a grocery store that has apparently never been remodeled since the 70s. And we followed it up with lunch at a retro Pizza Hut! Enjoy this thread of pictures.

Update: my wife found the missing piece about three feet away from where I was working on the carpet. LEGO's reputation is saved!
We have a LEGO Grogu! Unfortunately his frog snack is incomplete. First set missing a piece I've ever come across.

My son found this for me yesterday! I'd like to pick up more Transformers Hot Wheels to add to my garage for Gaslands. Not sure if I want to junk this one up, though, it's so pretty!

At the about-halfway point, I have mixed feelings for Pokemon Legends Z-A. Action style "boss" fights and the real time nature of battles is less than ideal for me. I play Pokemon to chill at my own pace and there are some definitely not-chill moments in this game.

Printing thirty Power Morphers and sixty Power Coins was quite a project. It was all worth it to make my grandson's birthday party special. His daddy even dressed up as the red Ranger! The smiles on all these faces were precious. Great memories made.

Tried making custom slides for our Star Shower Slide Show projectors. Thanksgiving is underrepresented in the holiday decorations world! I think they turned out ok.
